(Jacob 5:15)
There are a number of leadership lessons in Zenos’s allegory of the olive trees. One of those lessons is this: an effective leader is a member of the team, not just an order-giver. He works alongside the people he leads, and he talks about “us” instead of “you.”
Today, I will strive to be an effective leader at home. I will work together with other family members on shared projects, and I will look for opportunities to say, “Let’s do this together.”
