16 And I, Nephi, did build a temple; and I did construct it after the manner of the temple of Solomon save it were not built of so many precious things; for they were not to be found upon the land, wherefore, it could not be built like unto Solomon’s temple. A righteous leader establishes patterns and structure which enable his or her people to achieve shared goals. Neuphi accepted this duty of leadership and provided clear direction to help his people be productive and live “after the manner of happiness” (verse 27).
Today, I will consider the structure I provide to those I lead, including family prayer, scripture study, and family home evening. I will recommit to maintain these patterns consistently in order to achieve the goal of a united and strong family.
