3 And it mattereth not to me that I am particular to give a full account of all the things of my father, for they cannot be written upon these plates, for I desire the room that I may write of the things of God.
As I manage my time today, I’m thinking about Nephi’s example of how to work within constraints. In the passage above, he explains to us the decisions he has to make as he decides what information to include in the plates. He has intentionally excluded many facts and stories which we might have found interesting, because he recognizes that the plates are limited in size, and he wants to save room for the most important things.
As I manage my schedule today, I will remember Nephi’s example. I will exclude some activities which I might have found fun or interesting, in order to save room in my schedule for the activities of the highest value.
