3 Behold, he bringeth to pass the resurrection of the dead. But behold, my son, the resurrection is not yet. Now, I unfold unto you a mystery; nevertheless, there are many mysteries which are kept, that no one knoweth them save God himself. But I show unto you one thing which I have inquired diligently of God that I might know–that is concerning the resurrection.
(Alma 40:3)
As I think about time management this week, one important principle has come to mind: we need to dedicate time to pondering, scripture study, and prayer in order to increase our spiritual knowledge. I love Alma’s example to his son in the passage above. He admits that there are many things he does not know, but he reports that there are some important things he has learned by dedicating time and effort to better understand a specific doctrine.
Today, as I review my schedule, I will dedicate time to studying, pondering, and prayer.
