Never Be Weary of Good Works – Alma 37:34

34 Teach them to never be weary of good works, but to be meek and lowly in heart; for such shall find rest to their souls.

There’s a simple formula in this verse for happiness.
  1. Don’t ever get tired of doing good.
  2. Be humble.
What a great combination! There are always good things to do. If we can keep performing acts of kindness consistently (even when we’re tired) and can get our own ego out of the way, we will have peace and happiness.
Today, I will serve the people around me humbly and unwearyingly. I will strive to live up to Alma’s ideal to “never be weary of good works.”
