20 And they arose from the earth, and he said unto them: Blessed are ye because of your faith. And now behold, my joy is full.
21 And when he had said these words, he wept, and the multitude bare record of it, and he took their little children, one by one, and blessed them, and prayed unto the Father for them.
22 And when he had done this he wept again;
We may think it is more efficient to serve groups of people than individuals. But we need to remember that each person is important and that, when we serve or teach a group, we are actually serving and teaching individuals, each of whom has their own unique background, personality, challenges, and anxieties. In reality, it would be far more effective if we could do as the Savior did in the passage above, and serve other people individually instead of in groups.
Today, I will pay attention to the individuals I interact with. I will remember the example of the Savior, who “took their little children, one by one, and blessed them, and prayed unto the Father for them.”
