15 Behold, when ye shall rend that veil of unbelief which doth cause you to remain in your awful state of wickedness, and hardness of heart, and blindness of mind, then shall the great and marvelous things which have been hid up from the foundation of the world from you–yea, when ye shall call upon the Father in my name, with a broken heart and a contrite spirit, then shall ye know that the Father hath remembered the covenant which he made unto your fathers, O house of Israel.
Revelation comes to those who are capable of receiving it. An unwillingness to believe shuts down those parts of our mind and heart which would have been the landing zone for communications from God. We have to intentionally open the door. We have to humble ourselves. We must tear apart the veil which separates us from spiritual enlightenment. How? By humbling ourselves and praying to the Father with an open heart and mind. The enlightenment we seek is waiting for us: the Lord has never abandoned us. But until we free ourselves from the unbelief which both shields and stifles us, we will not even detect it.
