Coriantumr tries to convince Shiz to deescalate and negotiate, but Shiz responds with a ridiculous demand: Let me kill you, and I will spare your people. Coriantumr and Shiz gather their people for four years and begin their final battle. Over a period of about six days, the two armies completely destroy one another. The last one standing is Coriantumr.
Ether, who did not participate in the fighting, is a witness to his people’s destruction.
