King Lamoni agrees to accompany him to deliver them, but during their journey, they meet Lamoni’s father, who becomes angry that Lamoni is with a Nephite. Ammon defends Lamoni and overpowers his father. Lamoni’s father is impressed with Ammon’s unselfishness and invites him to visit him.

Ammon’s unselfish requests impressed Lamoni’s father. He was astonished at the love Ammon demonstrated toward his son, and he invited Ammon to visit him. God can also help us uplift and inspire others by showing them that God loves them.
