1. The Church of Jesus Christ must be called by His name. 2. We should be a light. 3. Honoring our parents includes our ancestors. 4. Don't procrastinate. 5. Prioritize. 6. The Lord loves effort. 7. God will open doors. 8. Tithing expresses love and gratitude to God. 9. God governs His church by councils.
Doctrine and Covenants 111-114: “I Will Order All Things for Your Good” (October 6-12)

Doctrine and Covenants 109-110: “It Is Thy House, a Place of Thy Holiness” (September 29 – October 5)
In 1836, Joseph Smith dedicated the Kirtland Temple. A week later, he and Oliver Cowdery received priesthood keys from heavenly messengers in that building. President Russell M. Nelson said that the significance of those keys cannot be overstated. He invited us to consider how those keys bless our lives today.

Lessons from D&C 93: 1. Jesus enlightens us, helping us perceive truth. 2. True worship is based on knowledge. 3. Our bodies have eternal significance. 4. We receive God's blessings by striving to emulate Him. 5. God openly expresses love for His Son. 6. God expects parents to teach their children.
Doctrine and Covenants 89-92: “A Principle with Promise” (August 18-24)
Lessons from D&C 89-92 1. God usually teaches us gently, by persuasion rather than compulsion. 2. Those who follow God's law receive hidden treasures of knowledge. 3. Amplify prophetic messages. 4. Belief enables us to receive and perceive God's hand in our lives. 5. Be an active participant in the organizations you belong to.
Doctrine and Covenants 88: “Establish … a House of God” (August 11-17)
Lessons from Doctrine and Covenants 88: 1. Jesus sends angels. 2. Jesus understands our suffering. 3. Jesus gives us the joyful gift of resurrection. 4. Law and glory are connected. 5.
