After Helaman’s death, his brother Shiblon takes possession of the sacred records. He later passes that responsibility to Helaman’s son, Helaman. In the post-war period, an entrepreneur named Hagoth builds many ships and sends groups of settlers northward. A group of dissenters convinces the Lamanites to attack the Nephites again, but Moroni’s son Moronihah defeats them.
