Feel the Prints of the Nails

At the temple in Bountiful, the people who had already been invited to see and hear the Savior were now invited to approach Him and touch His wounds. When we wholeheartedly worship Him, we can experience a similar feeling of closeness and of wonder.

Beautiful Garments

Isaiah urged us to put on our beautiful garments. The message is metaphorical, but there is also a literal application. The way we dress for worship activities can communicate our love and devotion to God.

The Throne of God

Isaiah, Lehi, and John all saw God sitting on a throne, surrounded by heavenly beings who were praising Him. These visions can help us worship more reverently. We can be grateful for His supremacy and for His empowering influence in our lives.

“In Spirit and in Truth”

Sacred times and places are important, and we benefit from treating them with reverence. But as Jesus taught the Samaritan woman, and as Alma and Amulek taught the Zoramites, the ultimate goal is communion with God.

O Be Joyful
