Zoram

Zoram's life was disrupted instantly, in the middle of the night. To his credit, he adapted to his new circumstances and became a great friend to Nephi. When our circumstances change, we can follow Zoram's example of adaptability and resilience.

The Doctrine of Christ

The doctrine of Christ consists of faith, repentance, baptism, and following the Holy Ghost along the path that leads to eternal life. President Nelson taught that the doctrine of Christ will change our lives if we understand and implement it.

Rooted, Grounded, Settled

How can we find stability in the midst of chaos? When we are rooted in the faith of Jesus Christ, He helps us weather the storms in our lives without being shaken. As we strengthen our faith in Him, we will be prepared for difficult experiences.

Nothing Wavering

Elder Rasband pointed out that some of the people who shouted "Hosanna" on Palm Sunday later shouted "Crucify him." Public opinion is fickle, and true disciples are steadfast. We must avoid being "carried about with every wind of doctrine."

Why Is Steadiness Important?

Alma praised his son Shiblon for his "steadiness and...faithfulness" (Alma 38:2).
