King Benjamin said, "If you believe all these things, see that ye do them." Belief is wonderful but insufficient. We need to find ways to convert our beliefs into action, to express our faith not only through words but also through works.
Faith and Works
Paul taught that we are saved through faith, not works. James added that we show our faith by our works. Both statements are true. Faith without works isn't really faith. Works without faith will not invite God's power.
Sufficient and Abounding Grace
God's grace is sufficient to meet our needs. We can be settled and stable knowing this. His grace also abounds toward us. For what purpose? So that we can in turn abound in good works, sharing that grace with other people.
More Blessed
There are many things we can do which will be a blessing for us and for others. We should do them. Sometimes, there is an opportunity to stretch ourselves even more, in ways that will bring us even more happiness. We should take advantage of those too.
